Design Technology teacher - full time position in a Rochdale secondary school.
A secondary school in the Rochdale area of Greater Manchester have an open vacancy and seek to recruit a Design Technology teacher on a full time basis. Required to start from the June half term break or earlier if possible, this position would suit both newly qualified and also experienced Design Technology teachers, ideally with a specialism for Resistant Materials (KS3/GCSE).
Situated in the Rochdale authority, enrolling pupils from the Heywood & Middleton areas, this is a slightly larger than average secondary school with a modern build and up to date facilities throughout. Due to the need within the Tech department, the Head of school seeks to hire a Design Technology teacher on a full time basis, temporary in the first instance with a view to becoming a permanent appointment. With the timing of this vacancy, the school are keen to recruit as soon as possible for a June or earlier start, with interviews and an introduction to the faculty available straight away. Whether you are an experienced Design Technology teacher or an NQT nearing the end of your teacher training programme, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. The vast majority of the timetable consists of Resistant Materials teaching (Year 7 - 11) with other elements of Technology at lower school, Graphics and Product Design.
