Prospero Teaching are working with a school in the Stockport area who are looking for a Full time DT / Resistant Materials Teacher to start in April or sooner for the ideal Teacher.
About the Resistant Materials Teacher Position:
Full-time position starting in April.
School has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
High achieving school with an outstanding department.
Excellent support from Senior leadership and head of department.
Potential for position to become permanent for ideal Resistant Materials Teacher.
To be Successful the Resistant Materials Teacher will have/be:
Driven to maintain pupil participation.
Confidence to teach across Key stages 3 & 4.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and pupils.
Strong organisational skills.
Experience within a secondary environment.
To be Eligible the Resistant Materials Teacher must have/be:
A fully qualified teacher, ideally QTS or equivalent.
Able to provide two professional references that cover the last two years of employment.
Experience teaching Key stage 3 & 4.
An enhanced DBS certificate that is registered with the Update Service, or be willing to complete one.
The ability to adapt according to pupil attitude when it may be challenging.
