Design Technology Teacher
I am working with a fantastic girls school based in Islington who are looking to take on a Design Technology teacher to start as soon as possible. A member of staff has signed off on long term sick leave and they are in need of a subject specialist to step in and help cover the role.
The position is full time and would involve teaching a varied timetable including Resistant Materials, Textiles and Food Technology.
You will be required to do marking, planning and prep for this position as well as teaching. The school itself offers a warm welcome to all staff. The school will be shortlisting candidates this week and will look to meet with teachers next week.
This position is not suitable for NQTs. To be considered for this role applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status and possess a current DBS certificate registered on the update service.
To be considered for this role please email an updated copy of your CV as soon as possible.
This is a lovely 11-18 girls school based in Islington. During its last Oftsed inspection (2012) the school received a rating of "Oustanding" across the board, these high standards are reflected in the quality of grades achieved by students in the last academic year (over 80% A*-C Eng, Maths, Science). Most notably the last report highlighted the consistently good behaviour of pupils and the "high levels of respect" pupils show each other and staff. This is a wonderful school which plays a key role in the local community and would be an excellent place for a teacher to work.
