Design Practitioner

Our client is currently recruiting for a Service Designer to join their Transformation team on a 6 month contract basis. The Service Designer will be responsible for leading the Design Process on a range of different services across social care, education, health and environmental issues, overseeing 1-2 different projects at one time.

Responsibilities of the Service Designer

• Leading the Service and Organisational Design Process on 1-2 projects
• Partner with teams across the Council providing hands-on Design support and Design Coaching

Key Skills & Experience for the Service Designer

Essential

• Proven experience working in a Service Design position or similar role
• Strong Knowledge of Design Disciplines (Service Design, Organisational Design, Content Design, Product Design and Social Design)
• A background working within Local Government or Public Sector is highly desirable
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
