Our client are world leaders in Dual Control Systems, with over 80 years' experience in design and manufacture. They pride themselves highly on their products and the excellent service they provide.
Due to their continuous success they are currently looking for a Design Engineer to join their expanding team.
As Design Engineer your main focus will be to engineer, design, manufacture process vigilance and installation of equipment into various automotive vehicles. You will be involved with the design of systems for various vehicles to a high standard of quality with due consideration to their safety of operation. You will plan and manage introduction of new designs to match the introduction of new vehicles by their manufacturers. You will also act as primary contact for technical support, advice and investigation.
The successful candidate will ideally be degree level educated in Mechanical Engineering and have a passion for cars. You must have previous experience and application of CAD systems - 2D (mandatory) and 3D (desirable). You should have a strong ability to work across internal departments and to work with external partners. You must work well as a team as well as working independently.
