Are you a qualified Design and Technology teacher looking to secure a fixed term position?

If so, our client school in Rochdale have a temporary gap in their Design department, and would like to appoint a skilled Textiles teacher to join them on a temporary basis from October half term. This position will initially continue until Easter, though this could potentially extend.

- October 2018 start for most suitable applicant, or potentially sooner

- Ofsted Good secondary school with modern facilities throughout

- Join collaborative department with track record of excellent results throughout

- Earn in line with experience paid via weekly supply (£500 - £750 per week)

Our client school is large, mixed secondary school which is situated in Rochdale with over 1200 students currently enrol. The school recently moved into a purpose built site and boasts excellent provisions for learning, which has enabled teaching staff to engage students and caused a consistent climb in attainment in recent years. During their most recent Ofsted inspection, the school's pupils were noted to be very well behaved both in lessons and around the school, with a respectful attitude towards staff and their own learning. The school was judged to be a Good school in 2017, and the leadership team are keen to continue striving for excellence across all avenues and the incoming Maths teacher will benefit from regular access to professional development courses.

Situated near the M62 and A627(M), applicants from surrounding LEAs including Manchester, Bury and Oldham will easily be able to access the school, and non-drivers can benefit from the local train station being a 10 minute walk. A number of staff currently commute from Leeds due to the locality of the M62 motorway.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE E.n.g.l.i.s.h & M.a.t.h.s (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
