In this role you will be working alongside the team leader to plan and organise the delivery of support by the care team by ensuring that care plans are up to date, risk assessments are undertaken and adequate records are kept.
You will also work with the team leader to support and supervise staff ensuring that they complete their induction and have individual learning plans that are regularly reviewed, this can also include supervising volunteers and contractors working on the grounds, complete all administrative needs required in the role and undertake training and professional development.
You will work with the Team Leader to ensure that tenants receive housing related support by assisting them with budgeting and managing their tenancies, supporting them to make individual choices and to access facilities regarding their health and lifestyle and arrange and assist in personal care where provided.
To succeed in this role you must have:
- 2 years' experience working in a supported living enviroment with adults with learning difficulties
- NVQ Level 3 in social care or equivilant qualification
- A good level of Maths and English
- Good IT skills
- A passion for supporting vunerable adults
