Our client, a well-established and nurturing nursery, is seeking a dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join their passionate team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional to step into a leadership role, supporting the daily running of a high-quality childcare setting that fosters curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young children.
The Deputy Nursery Manager will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery, providing strong leadership to the team and maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to thrive. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who is ready to take the next step in their career while making a meaningful impact on children’s early years development.
What You’ll Need
Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working in an early years setting, ideally in a leadership or senior role
A strong understanding of EYFS guidelines and safeguarding practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, supportive, and positive approach to leadership
A passion for providing outstanding early years education and care

Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery
Leading and inspiring the team to provide high-quality early years education and care
Ensuring all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements are met
Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
Monitoring and assessing children’s progress, ensuring individual needs are met
Supporting staff development through mentoring and training opportunities
Maintaining a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for all
