Deputy Manager 20-25K Woodford Green
Daisy Chain Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Deputy Nursery Manager for an established nursery on the East London and Essex borders.
As the Deputy Nursery Manager, your duties will be to:
Assist the Manager in planning the training strategy for students, apprentices and staff.
Assist the Manager in promoting Equal Opportunities.
Work alongside the parents/carers of special needs children to achieve full integration within the nursery.
Identify the physical, emotional, intellectual and developmental needs of children with special needs and offer support and relevant developmental opportunities.
Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members.
Attend monthly staff meetings and training sessions outside working hours.
Ensure all OFSTED compliance documentation is regularly updated and accurate.
To be a successful Deputy Nursery Manager you will have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Minimum NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent.
Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
Excellent knowledge of OFSTED standards.
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
Good time management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong people management skills.
In return, the Deputy Nursery Manager will receive a salary of £20,000-£25,000 per annum including 4 weeks paid holiday and an opportunity to work in a friendly and supportive environment.
