Deputy Care home manager ( RGN or RMN )

- Location: Near Weston on Trent, Derby

- Position: Deputy Care home

- Salary: £38,700 per annum negotiable depending on experience + £1000 welcome Bonus + Paid Breaks

- Hours: Full time 40 Hours

- Shifts: Days (Office working hours) as well as shift work when required

- Contract type: Permanent

*Salary equivalent to NHS Band 5 & 6*

The Service:

I am looking for highly motivated Deputy Manager RGN or RMN who will play a key role within this care home. The home specialises in care of the elderly including Dementia, Physical care, Older adults.

This is not a standard care home but a retirement village offering fist class 5* star care with the stunning location and wealth of facilities that really sets this service apart with the care home at the hear of the village. The village is located near Near Weston on Trent, Derby.

Job Description:

As the Deputy Manager you will be expected to support the Head of care in all day to day duties, as well as performing nursing and managerial responsibilities.

Who are we looking for:

- Knowledge and ability in managing and supervising staff.

- Experience of Auditing

- Recruitment experience

- Assessing new residents

- Strong Clinical Skills

- Ability to motivate and work with a team of staff.

- Ability to evaluate resident care and act accordingly if untoward changes occur.

- Experience of recording accurate care plans.

- Experiencing of establishing relationships with other health professionals; including GPs and Social Workers.

- Practical experience of providing high quality care and exceeding expectations.

- Ability to demonstrate continuing professional growth and development.
