Salary £21,000 to £23,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)
37.5 hours per week
Established in 1997, our client is a family run not-for-profit organisation whose sole purpose is 'to provide residential and supported accommodation services for homeless people or people with little or no housing choice’. They employ a committed workforce of 120 members of staff, who provide a broad range of residential and social care services designed to meet the diverse needs of over 300 vulnerable men, women, children and young people across Merseyside.
Their childcare company is an innovative provider of high-quality, therapeutic residential childcare for children and young people aged 11 to 18 years with a range of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
They are now looking to appoint a Deputy Manager to join them at their home in Liverpool.
Within this role, you will be accountable for delivering high quality care to the children and young people resident within the home. This means that you will assist the Registered Manager in delivery of all care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home, and all day to day management matters.
In order to be successful, you should hold a Diploma Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and Leadership and Management, coupled with significant Residential childcare experience (5 years minimum).
While the Deputy Manager is employed for 37.5 hours per week, the role may involve evening, weekend and sleeping-in duties.
Due to the nature of the role, a valid full driving licence is also essential.
