Dove Resourcing is supporting one of the largest residential childcare providers, to help source them a experienced Deputy Manager to work within their new Residential children’s home in the Bedfordshire area.
They deliver highly individualised care packages to young people with who exhibit emotional behavioural difficulties.
They ensure their children’s homes are a homely environment where, with the right care and dedicated support, every child and young person can fulfil their potential.
I am looking for an experienced Deputy Manager or a Senior who would be looking for a step into a management role. You will need to have extensive experience and knowledge about working within the residential childcare sector.
Deputy manager salaries within this company are paying up to £32,000 for the year. You will still have to complete your share of sleep ins/ weekend work. You do need to be fully commited to this aspect of the role.
As a Deputy Manager you will:
•Assist the Registered Manager with the homes developments.
•Support the staff and make sure they are working towards the national standards of care.
•complete staff supervisions.
•Maintain and develop relationships with placing authorities in the region.
To be considered you will be;
•An individual with a child centred ethos to their work - a belief in a thorough matching process.
•Be prepared to undergo further training in line with the requirements of the role.
•Hold your Level 3 in Children & Young People Workforce.
•A car driver with a full UK driving licence.
This is a full time permanent opportunity with the successful applicant being subject to referencing and a DBS check.
