Deputy Home Manager - Nursing Home - Prestwick- £40,000 per annum

This Deputy Home Manager vacancy is with one of the UK's leading health and social care providers. They have recently been bought by a larger non-profit group and investment into these homes have begun. With almost 120 homes across the country and a new portfolio of services in Scotland, there hasn't been a better time to join the group given the future career prospects!

The deputy manager position is with their nursing home in Prestwick. The home is a specialist care centre and provides comprehensive care for 50 residents with general nursing and dementia needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team and organisation that push for progression and provides routes for certain qualifications in leadership and management.

The Requirements Deputy Home Manager

  • Registered Nurse - RGN
  • Valid NMC PIN with no restrictions
  • Senior experience within a nursing/care home environment
  • Passion for nursing and delivering high quality care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The Responsibilities Deputy Home Manager

  • Provide care for the residents on a daily basis undertaking direct nursing and general care, as required, including periods on night duty if necessary
  • Contribute positively to the setting and development of measurable standards of care relevant to the speciality
  • Responsible forthe assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care programmes
  • Contribute to the professional development of trained staff
