Deputy Headteacher - PRU - Maternity Cover

We are working closely with a PRU in Staffordshire and for this school we are looking to recruit a interim deputy headteacher for a maternity cover starting in April 2018 or sooner.

The Headteacher has asked us to support them in finding the best candidate for their Deputy Head teacher vacancy. You will have previous experience of raising standards in curriculum and have experience of raising attendance.

This role would be particularly suitable for a leader who can also teach Science but leadership, management and experience of working within a similar school is of more importance to the role.

The school is interested in looking at a variety of successful candidates who can add value to their already successful leadership team, but there would particular interest in deputies who have prior experience of working in schools who have successfully worked within PRU, SEMH or schools with highly challenging behaviour.

You must have:
. experience of working within a PRU, SEMH School or with highly challenging behaviours,
· previous school leadership experience,
. be able and willing to work with the school on data and raising attendance,
· British QTS or equivalent.
