Swansea PRU and BSU requires a new Deputy Headteacher to join us at an exciting time in our development. The post is to commence in January 2021 or as soon as possible after this date.

Swansea Council has invested in a major overhaul of its EOTAS services, and is now looking for a new, suitably experienced and dynamic Deputy Headteacher to support the realisation of the Council's Behaviour Strategy, in addition to playing a pivotal role in the leadership of Swansea PRU.

Swansea BSU has recently undergone a full review of its staffing structure in readiness for its exciting transition into a new, purpose designed building, sited in the Cockett area of Swansea. This involves moving the existing three centres and the current Behaviour Support Team and Home Tuition Team into one building, which is planned to take place late in January 2021.

Swansea PRU caters for 158 pupils from across schools in Swansea aged between 5 - 16 years.

All of our pupils who attend the PRU have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD) and so, recent and relevant experience of working with pupils who have social, emotional and behavioural needs, along with proven leadership experience, is essential.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
