To be successful, you will be career-minded experienced Teacher who seeks greater responsibility and career progression or an existing enthusiastic Deputy Headteacher | DHT ready for a new environment. Your demonstrable track record of 'Good' or better teaching will become exponentially useful to you as you drive the standards of teaching and learning forward, across the school. You should possess a proven ability to lead positively from the front, ensuring that your team are aware of your high expectations. You must have the skills to establish open lines of communication between teachers, parents and governors with transparency and honesty at the core of your relationships. The successful candidate will have a gift for training and an inspirational teach style and the importance of delivering a top education to all pupils at the heart of your teaching ethos.

What does the role of a Deputy Headteacher | DHT in this school entail?

This Deputy Headteacher | DHT role involves you contributing to the development and progression of the whole school, with a focus on improving the teaching and learning. In order to monitor and evaluate the quality of lesson delivery, content and pupil care in the classroom there will be an expectation to conduct lesson observations. With a focus point being on raising teaching standards and ability throughout the school. In the post you will work alongside your team to reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the current curriculum and reviewing what needs implementing to increase attainment in those areas.
