This well established and growing one form entry primary school has a renowned culture, and strongly inclusive ethos which aims to make all children feel safe, supported, and that they not only achieve their expectations, but exceed them. The school has around 22% EAL pupils, and higher than average numbers of pupil premium children. Their results year after year have been strong, and among the best in the borough for both attainment and improvement. About the Role - Deputy Head Teacher - Southwark, South East London
This role has become available due to urgent relocation of the current Deputy Head. The focus will be on Inclusion, SEN, EAL and gifted and talented, ensuring all children can reach their potential and shine. They are also looking for a strong Deputy to drive assessment and behaviour, as well as manage support staff. This role is open to those who are currently in post as well as those who have held whole school responsibility but without the DHT title. They encourage applications from current Assistant Head Teachers who want to step up, and can show the unique and effective ways they have made an impact on whole school initiatives.
