We are seeking a highly organised and capable person with a broad knowledge of food and drink to help lead the team at our superb Portsmouth Arms pub restaurant in Hatch Warren - Basingstoke.
As the DGM you will help to lead and inspire the team in a high-profile site to maintain impeccable service standards, a high level of presentation, and consistent performance in order to provide our guests with beverage and dining experiences of the highest quality. You will control, mentor, motivate and develop the team members who are fully committed to success.
Previous experience and knowledge of managed food pub operations with a busy food profile is essential. You will ensure that the site cash, security and safety procedures are adhered to, and follow standard procedures to manage the business and execute service effectively. Additionally, the successful candidate will have a long-term design for the site, recognising this as a commitment to support the GM in developing the pub restaurant and its employees to their full potential by articulating plans for the long-term future.
