Our client is an exciting and rapidly expanding organisation who strive for excellence within their sector. As part of this expansion a new role has been created to further enhance their finance team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director of Finance the key purpose of this role is to to support them and the business drive strategic improvement of the finance function and provide leadership at a tactical and operational level, deputising for the Finance Manager as required. Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Managing junior staff on a day to day basis
- Preparation and presentation of monthly reports
- Monitoring and management of working capital
- Maintenance and improvement of the internal control environment
- Liaising with key stakeholders, including internal and external audit
- Conversation and acquisition due diligence
What you'll need to succeed
Suitable candidates will be on the qualification pathway of a chartered accounting body and have several years experience of working in a finance department.In addition to this excellent It skills including Excel, strong communication skills and a pro-active approach to work.
