Deputy Editor - Citywire Engage

An exciting opportunity has come up for a Deputy Editor, for Citywire Engage to oversee the expansion of one of the fastest growing areas of our business.
Citywire Engage is a business that creates, delivers and distributes content in a wide range of print and digital media for our asset management clients as they seek to develop their marketing content to investment professionals.
About the Deputy Editor role:
Reporting to the team’s managing editor, you will be responsible for working with these clients to create exciting new content ideas and see them through to delivery, working closely with in house and external writers, our designers, videographers, sales staff and our delivery management team.
You will have several years’ experience of writing about the asset management industry, either as a journalist on a trade publication or creating content for asset managers in house or for an agency.
You will also have the creativity to come up with ideas that clients will want to be associated with.
Increasingly our work is as much about creating great videos, infographics and employing digital elements as it is about writing articles.
The ability to know how to search for data and proof points that can be made visually attractive to illustrate the stories our clients want to tell, is essential in this role.
What you’ll need in becoming the Deputy Editor:
- A degree/qualification in a relevant field
- Solid experience in writing about the asset management industry
- You will be a creative thinker, ideally fitting with the client’s profiles
- Excellent communication skill.
