Our Loch Ewe based Oil Terminal operations client is now actively seeking to hire a Depot Operator

Salary £18,600 + Overtime + benefits package + Training and Development. Great opportunity to move into a Fuel Supervisor role quickly.

The role:

Working as part of a team; this role undertakes the supply and receipt of POL Bulk products for HM Navy and other customers; always working within Competent Authority standards and regulations and with a strong focus on ensuring no harm to people or the environment.

The responsibilities include, berthing and slipping of shipping vessels, assisting in the fuelling of vessels, slinging duties, deployment and recovery of pneumatic fenders and general site maintenance

You will be able to show you are a motivated team player, must able to be part of a rostered "on-call" team and undertake short notice overtime. You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the foundations health and safety and have good safety conscious record, along with high standards of honesty and confidentiality.

There is an expectation that you will also train as a Fuel Supervisor, to ensure there are sufficient competent resources to meet our Control of Work requirements. This career progression will lead to an additional pay increase.


Engineering qualification/Apprenticeship

You must be computer literate (good MS Office skills

Demonstrate safety consciousness
