Salary: £24,000 + bonus
Position: Department Manager - High Wycombe
Here's a refreshing opportunity to work with a fashion retailer that values personality and individuality. Want to work with a leading retailer that respects you and your style? That gives you inspirational leadership and a great grounding in retail management? That gives you responsibility, the chance to prove yourself and the chance to turn talent into progression? This is for you.
About the company
Our client is a vibrant fashion retailer with a big reputation in the industry. Naturally, there's a huge commitment to the customer, but there's an equally strong focus on staff. This is a nurturing environment, a place where talent gets the training and the opportunity it needs to progress.
It's a brand that stands out on CVs, but it's also the sort of retail brand where people stay because, as the business continues to grow, progression opportunities tend to be frequent.
You'll already have managed a sizeable team and a large turnover in a fashion retail environment. You'll also be eager to grow your knowledge and experience. You may not have had a great deal of experience in commercial aspects of retail or HR elements such as recruitment, but you'll be able and willing to learn and you'll receive full support and training.
You'll also need:
- To love the full-on, fast paced environment
- To thrive on responsibility
- To be passionate about customer service
- To be able to lead a team, driving performance and supporting development
- Experience in retail footwear is an advantage
Of course there's a competitive salary and a very generous bonus scheme. But what really separates this role from others is the opportunities it presents:
- Inspirational leadership
- A nurturing, supportive environment
- Lots of opportunities to gain experience and responsibility in areas not often open to assistant manager grades
- Good opportunities for progression
