Demi Chef De Partie

We are now recruiting for a Demi Chef De Partie in Colchester!

Working as part of the award winning kitchen brigade, and reporting to the Executive Head Chef, the successful candidate will have previous experience working in a 2 AA rosette restaurant or equivalent.

Main Responsibilities-

  • To work on a section efficiently and effectively, overseeing and developing trainees within the section.
  • To assist in the compilation of orders on your section each day.
  • Ensure that any food presented to our guests is of a standard which befits the Club.
  • Work in a neat, orderly and hygienic manner, making sure that hygiene regulations are adhered to.
  • Work to standards laid down and ensure the preparation, cooking and presentation of all foods reflects the professionalism of the Club and your colleagues.
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature, and served correctly.
  • Keep wastage to a minimum and ensure large or expensive items disposed of are brought to the attention of your manager.

Full time position for 45 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days including weekends. Due to our location, having your own transport is essential.
