Kelly Services are recruiting for a experienced haulage Traffic Planner on behalf of our Transport client based in Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for routing vehicles nationally to ensure on time delivery is met and therefore a good knowledge of the UK transport network as well as Transport Law, Tachograph and Back loading is essential;

We are looking for someone with a strong Haulage planning back ground background who is preferably CPC qualified.

Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Logistics team to ensure accurate timed delivery. 
Managing your daily work and routing vehicles.
Good Knowledge of the UK Transport network.
Exceptional problem solving skills to support customers
Exceptional Data management.
Cross functional team work. 
Strong attention to detail. 

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a Haulage Transport Planning role.
The ability to multi task, adapt to changing priorities and be an excellent organiser. 
Microsoft Excel office.
Excellent administration skills
Knowledge of driver's hour and transport law.
Strong analytical skills and Customer Service skills. 
Flexible with regards to shift working.
Experience of using haulage planning software 
Holding a National CPC qualification is desirable but not essential.
A general standard of education - A level or equivalent.
