Our client are an amazing global wholesale brand who are looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join their EMEA team. Supporting the Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the below and have the following skills and requirements for the role.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Prepare a Demand Plan by sku, category, period and region based on order book, sales forecast, finance plan and commercial feedback from the region
Review monthly inventory buys, and validate as within the OTB to ensure adequate, seasonally relevant inventory levels are available to support revenue plan
Oversee critical path, PO placement, material master data management, volume direct shipments, supply chain issues and ensure we are meeting customer expectations (internally & externally)
Liaise daily with factory representives in order to achieve a smooth flow of production and ensure all production and production pending issues are resolved
Raises & Maintains Purchase Orders in SAP
Ad-hoc duties that are requested.
Skills & Requirements:
Advanced Excel skills essential (including pivot tables, vlook ups etc)
SAP experience is preferred
At least 3 years previous experience in a wholesale merchandising/inventory/demand planning position
Must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Strong communication skills
A pro-active, highly motivated and organised individual
Works well under pressure when working to tight deadlines
