About the role
An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Demand Manager to join their newly formed Gateway Team in Southampton.

As the Demand Manager, you will lead the evolution of a new function and team who are responsible for summarising demand throughout the business and supporting our investment governance.
In this important role, you’ll liaise with Business Consultants, Project Managers and Resource Managers to qualify demand and to optimise the use of our capacity.
You’ll support senior stakeholders and facilitate strong business decisions by bringing clarity to situations with potentially conflicting or confusing priorities.
Additionally, you’ll introduce new practices, policies and processes to enhance consistency and simplicity throughout the business.
So, are you the Demand Manager that Ordnance Survey is looking for? To be considered, you must have previous operations experience, which has included the following:
- Demand planning, including estimation, resource identification and workforce scheduling.
- New process delivery.
- Change management.
- Delivery approaches and methodologies.
- People management and development.
