About the Role

We need innovative, passionate and enthusiastic new talent to play a pivotal part in the Group’s future growth. We are building a cohort of 13/14 Degree Apprentices for 2018 to bring new ways of thinking to a key business area. Over the first years of your role you will be able to specialise as a Service Advisor, whilst over the longer term we would expect you to progress into a management role by demonstrating your ability to learn, adapt and deliver results. Our Service Advisors are at the very heart of our dealerships acting as the main point of contact for our customers and as the link to our technical team in the workshop who are working on their vehicle. Our focus is always to create a great customer experience and answer any questions, in a friendly and professional manner. Our customers should experience an easy, transparent and enjoyable visit and want to come back again in the future. Communication is key; our Service Advisors keep in contact with our customers to make sure there are no surprises and they are happy with their service before, during and after their visit. We know you will have a wealth of knowledge and new ideas, so the Vertu Degree Apprentice Customer Service Advisor Programme is a two-way street. It’s all about sharing thoughts, innovation, and getting actively involved in shaping the future of Vertu Motors. Not only will you help our leaders gain a new appreciation of how to drive the business forward, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact and get a valuable insight into the world of management. To be part of this challenging, but rewarding programme we ask that you have: A minimum of 120 UCAS points (the equivalent of 3 B’s at A-level) Strong IT skills, with a minimum of Grade B in GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics and English Proof of your right to work in the United Kingdom Drive and commitment to succeed Commitment to your own progression Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and suppliers:, Verbal, Telephone and Face to Face skills.
