Cleaning Site Manager

NOONAN is seeking to hire Day Team Cleaning Manager. This role is based on site with our prestigious and well-known client. This is a position that will suit an organised and energetic individual with great leadership skills as well as passion for cleaning and for people. Successful candidate will have previous experience as a Cleaning Manager, Cleaning Manager Assistant or Soft Services Manager in cleaning contract services for at least 3 years.

Location : Liverpool Street - London

Hours: 08:00-17:00 Mon to Fri - Occasionally Weekends

Starting: ASAP

Key deliverables are:

  • Client engagement at all levels

  • People management

  • H&S: Including COSHH and knowledge of BICS processes

  • KPI and Standards

  • Commercial performance: Budget x Services

  • HR process and procedures

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in the Soft Services sector including cleaning contracts.

  • Previous experience interacting with and influencing the client senior management team

  • Must have excellent communication skills

  • Must have great IT skills specially Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Will have knowledge of reporting requirements within and understanding of KPI’s

  • Highly flexible with a demonstrated willingness to take on a responsible approach to any issues

  • Practical and logical approach to problem solving

  • Be a team player with the ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships

  • Have passion for people and cleaning.

  • Must have experience in corporate environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of strategic partnerships with key stakeholders on site.

  • Manage the day operation of the site, which can include up to 40 operatives at a time across 16 floors building.

  • Manage and develop client relationship and daily interaction

  • Ensure the contract is operating to and exceeding the required specification and performance and is regularly audited in line with specification

  • Provide guidance and direction to the team

  • Ensure business sector is fully compliant with Industry Standards, relevant employment legislation, ISO and Company procedures & policies

  • Prioritise health and safety at all levels

  • Endorse new Company initiatives and ensure they are implemented on site

  • Due to the nature of the role, extra hours and weekend work will be required for which you will be notified in advance and paid accordingly
