Data Warehouse Developer required by a leading software house in Colchester as part of a large-scale recruitment drive on the back of a number of new global projects. Over the past 10 years, the company has been tremendously successful and have put plans in place to double their research and development department to keep them at the forefront of their industry. The company have recognised a need for an experienced Data Warehouse Developer to have ownership over the Data Warehouse and the associated strategy to benefit the business and enable them to make better use of historic data enabling the provision of better customer-aligned services and products.
Outside of the initial task of maintaining the data warehouse and working on BI solutions, the successful candidate will be working alongside the wider IT team to carry out research into the business processes and to effectively present this data to the business, providing new and innovative data modelling solutions. To be successful, candidates should be able to demonstrate previous experience of developing data warehouses into enterprise environments, performance tuning, dealing with multiple data sources and well-versed using PL SQL and T-SQL. The ETL tool of choice is CloverETL, although this isn't a requirement and experience working with Tableau and architecture experience including design and development will help put your application to the top of the pile.
