A fantastic opportunity for a Data Scientist who wants to be a key member in an innovative team. Working in a start-up environment within a large organisation, you will have the freedom to drive change within the A.I sector. As a Data Scientist in this team you focus on championing a data-driven approach to solving the company's toughest problems.

The Company

A very innovative tech consultancy is expanding the data scientist team rapidly. The culture of the company could be described as very open-minded and inspiring. You will get the chance to grow quickly within the company and eventually coach other Data Scientists.

The Role

  • Working closely with Data Scientists and BI Analysts, on projects for leading companies
  • Production level coding in Spark using big data
  • Developing cutting edge proof of concepts in Python
  • Working with developers to build an artificial intelligence software product
  • You will use Scrum in different projects
  • You will be playing around with big, real-world data performing object-oriented programming

Your Skills And Experience

  • You have a Master or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Proven commercial experience using Python or R and SQL
  • The successful data scientist will have extensive experience with machine learning techniques
  • Previous commercial experience using big data tools
  • Must have used big data to perform production level coding
