Data Quality Analyst (Maternity Cover)
A full time contract position has become available with this private University within their IT department. We are on the lookout for an IT Data Quality Analyst to join the team to monitor and report on data quality across their systems and databases. This role is home based.

What will you be doing?
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on data quality across their systems and databases, performing root cause analysis, impact analysis, and recommending solutions to resolve causes of poor data quality. You will be performing analysis through investigating data and processes to identify the root cause of data issues. You will recommend interim and strategic solutions that resolve the root causes and symptoms of data quality issues
Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field, the ideal candidate should have the appropriate and relevant work experience or other equivalent qualifications. Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills are a must. You should have significant experience working in at least two of the following disciplines: database application development, process design, data quality, ETL development, data migration. Significant recent experience working with structured query language including transact SQL and Oracle PL/SQL. Sufficient experience of ETL platforms to be able to trace data issues through to source and recommend improvements to code required.

This is a full time position paying £50-60k. This role is also home-based and you will have the luxury to work within our own space. You will also be doing site visits to the various study centres in and around London and in Manchester.
