Due to an internal move, we are looking for a bright, switched on individual to join our team to support Risk, Information Governance and Business Continuity across NHS Professionals based from in our Hemel Hempstead office but with lots of flexibility for remote working.
Reporting to the Risk & Information Governance Manager and based within a small, friendly and supportive team, this varied role will see you minute taking in Risk meetings, responding to FOI requests, interpreting reports, investigating data breach information and making recommendations to improve information governance, advising and reassuring stakeholders at all levels of the organisation if a data breach occurs and much more.
To be successful in this role you will:
Either bring experience of risk management, information governance and data protection to our team or the willingness to increase your knowledge quickly in this area.
- Have excellent analytical aptitude and the ability to assimilate information quickly and work under pressure.
- Possess superior written and verbal communication skills
- Are adept at working confidently across all levels of the organisation, including with senior stakeholders.
- Ideally possess knowledge of, or experience with the DSP Toolkit/IG Toolkit
- Are competent with the use of databases.
- Demonstrate some knowledge of Health & Safety issues in relation to workplace activity.
- Thrive working independently and self-managing.
