International Business - Data Protection Lawyer- As Data Protection lawyer/ Data Privacy Lawyer you will be working In-house with the Risk Management Team and General Counci supporrting the UK business and a number of the business' international offices. The initial focus is to develop and manage the firm's data protection compliance, privacy and cyber security. Fantastic opportunity to work for global business on a global role in the city.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Advising clients as well as all in house staff on a variety of Privacy and Data protection matters
  • Supporting the business' clients on global projects including GDPR and Data Protection Bill
  • Drafting, reviewing and amending a range of privacy / data protection documentation
  • Data Transfers, managing local lawyers
  • Mentoring members of team
  • Providing thought leadership and raise the profile of the firm externally.

Success Profile

  • Having an in depth understanding DP laws
  • Experience operating within EU Regulatory framework
  • In depth understanding of GDPR
  • Data breaches, DPA's, Data Transfers, Data Localisation
  • DP Audits and Risk Assessments
  • Strong academic background (Law Degree)
  • ISEB, CIPP/E, CRISC Qualifications Preferred
  • Experience as Head of Data Protection Lawyer, Data Privacy Lawyer, Principle Privacy Consultant, Head of Data Protection, Data Protection Officer, DPO, Data Protection Consultant, Data Protection Manager, Data Protection Director, Data Privacy Consultant, Data Privacy Officer, Data Privacy Director, GDPR Consultant, GDPR Programme Manager, GDPR Project Manager, GDPR SME, GDPR Programme Lead
