School Data Manager
Sheffield Secondary School looking for temporary Data Manager.
Your new role
Starting as soon as possible the school are looking to appoint a Data & SIMS Manager for an ongoing temporary basis. Working under the direction of the Director of Achievement, you will be responsible for facilitating the use of data to support and inform school improvement plans. You will:
- Provide a lead for the management and co-ordination of efficient procedures relating to school assessment data systems, maintaining accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
- Maintain the integrity of SIMS; ensuring it is fit for purpose and working at an optimum level for all users throughout the school year and ensuring the continuity between the school timetable systems, exams systems and SIMS
- Produce the School Census and Post-16 return and maintaining this data throughout the year
- Conduct training for staff in the use of SIMS and data
This position is full time working 8am - 4pm
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this post, previous experience of working with SIMS and Microsoft Office especially Excel is essential. You will be able to accurately input, manage and analyse data, with prior experience of using Assessment Manager, Course Manager and Nova NT6. You will also have prior experience of completing a school Census including post 16 data. You will be highly organised, with strong problem solving skills and the ability to effectively prioritise work to meet tight deadlines.
