Data Manager

Based London (City) with some homeworking potential

This upcoming bank who have won numerous awards for their Business Banking products as well as the Personal Account operations is currently expanding their Data capabilities in their London headquarters. As their business continues to growth, internal demand for accurate data to drive key business decisions as well as for regulatory reporting is key.

They are now seeking an experienced Data Analyst or Manager to join the team. Reporting into the Head of Data, you will have the opportunity to take control of a number of initiatives and projects, some of which will be aligned to new Open Banking projects.

They are seeking someone with strong stakeholder management skills, who is happy to liaise with business leaders to understand their data requirements, someone with strong SQL skills with good data warehouse interrogation skills. There will be a mixture of ad-hoc requests as well as those where future automation is possible. It is also anticipated that you will have a good understanding of data governance as well as the controls needed.

The organisation as a whole has a strong focus on employee development and is happy to sponsor ongoing training and career development. The way they are structured, their size, and the fact the data function sits as part of the overall business operations means that you will get a breadth of exposure in this role that you may not get within a larger established bank.
