Data Governance Manager
A huge global charity client are looking for a Data Governance Manager to establish and support the progression of the data governance framework for the data policies. You will join their team on an initial 6-9 month contract based in the heart of London.

The company -
The Charity you will be working for is going through a huge upgrade of one of their largest asset management platforms.
This is one of many upgrade and upscale projects the Charity are looking to implement during the next 12 months.
You will be working alongside a number of BA's and developers to ensure the processes, standards and solutions designed as part of the wider Data Governance project are built and implemented to successfully achieve the required business outcomes, particularly in the areas of Data Management and Data Quality.
Working across a number of countries with individual stakeholders as well as groups, exceptional organisation and communication skills are essential for this role. You will need to have the drive and gravitas to push this work from start to finish to meet deadlines whilst still providing quality.
What you will be doing-
Review existing Data Strategy, proposed Governance Board structure and Master Data processes to ensure they are fit for purpose.
Lead and implement the Data Governance roadmap.
Experience in implementing Data Governance programs within large team and data environments.
Work alongside Senior Management, IT team and wider community to implement the Data Management processes, tools and training where applicable.
Implement processes/solutions to manage the data change process.
Create and implement the Data Change approval and routing process on the Data Governance community platform.
Work with IT Counterparts to create and implement the necessary system workflows to support data change processes.
Work with the Business Intelligence team to ensure Data Quality checks and reporting is created and implemented.
This is a unique role that for the right person could develop into an extremely rewarding long term contract. You will have a real influence on the project and its outcome as well as potentially being involved in future projects the Charity client have in the pipeline.
