Supporting our Apprenticeship project / HR team
Based out of Whitbread Court - Dunstable

£24,000pa plus excellent benefits and up to 10% bonus

The Role:-

A superb opportunity has arisen for an advanced Excel user to join Whitbread Plc as a Data Analyst and become a key player within our Apprenticeships project team - known internally as the WISE Team. This is a chance to support the incredible work our Apprenticeship project team does to attract and train apprentices via our best-in-class schemes and outreach programmes via the delivery of robust and relevant data analysis.

This role will allow you to use your analytical expertise to demonstrate the financial and social value of our WISE culture within Whitbread - and to showcase this to our senior leadership teams too.

What you will be doing:-

  • Collate and analyse data in order to provide business reports and insight regarding our training programmes
  • Produce recommendations from detailed analysis on how to improve business performance
  • Research and produce reports on WISE social and commercial Return-On-Investment
  • Collaborate with scheme coordinators in order to ensure accurate reports are issued to the business on regional, area and brand apprentices
  • Provide suitable reporting to enable accurate self-assessment in the field

Why we would love you to apply:-

  • You have expert knowledge of Excel and are confident in all other MS Office suites (SPSS and VBA would be advantageous too but not essential)
  • Previous experience identifying, collecting and migrating data
  • You're confident producing useful and informative dashboards and reports - whether standard or ad-hoc
  • Understanding of how data provides a solid foundation for business decisions, you are committed to working accurately and can apply logical techniques to problem solving in order to provide the most suitable range of data analysis and recommendations
