A Data Analyst / Retail Stock Analyst (Hire Merchandising & Operations), with superb Microsoft Excel skills, is needed to join a national fashion retailer with a heritage that dates back over 150 years. Expect to play a key role developing and generating timely Hire Operational Reporting and Analysis, which supports the Hire Operations team.

Due to ongoing investment in customer experience they are now seeking a Data Analyst / Retail Stock Analyst (Hire Merchandising & Operations), with excellent attention to detail to join their talented operations team.
Reporting to the Hire Operations Manager the Data Analyst / Retail Stock Analyst (Hire Merchandising & Operations), will be responsible for creating, developing and delivering ongoing service reports to maintain a successful suit hire operation for customers. Whether you are predicting and identifying any issues and trends; reviewing and planning options by product and store taking into account space and sales plans; managing temporary allocations and set Model Stock parameters to deliver maximum availability and profit; analysing Hire Stock information to ensure that store stocks (including model stock) are maintained at appropriate levels or monitoring demand on ranges and ensuring that issues are flagged to the Operations team, it will be your exceptional numerical and analytical skills that enables this key function to run like clockwork.
To qualify… You could be a Data Analyst / Retail Stock Analyst (Hire Merchandising & Operations) / Stock Analyst / Retail Data Analyst / Retail Forecasting Analyst / Retail Demand Planning Analyst / Junior Data Analyst or similar, we don’t mind you just need a CV that can demonstrate:
- You are a graduate, with some experience in a similar Data Analyst / Retail Stock Analyst role ideally within a retail environment;
- Exceptional numerical and analytical skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Great organisation skills;
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and thrive in a busy environment;
- A strong communicator both written and verbal;
- Expert IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel;
- You are proactive, with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn;
- You have an approachable and friendly manner; you are an excellent team player.
