De Lacy Executive has been retained to assist in the recruitment of Dairy Genetics Sales people throughout SW Scotland.
Our client provides pioneering genetics and advice to dairy and beef farmers. The company uses their extensive research and development to assist farmers in maximising the full potential with their livestock. Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking further consultants throughout SW Scotland.
This is the perfect opportunity for experienced Herd / Livestock Managers who are looking to progress their career into the commercial side of the Agricultural industry. Equally candidates that have previous sales experience are also encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of dairy and beef cattle breeding alongside good experience of practical livestock management. Additional to these traits you should have good IT skills, a full UK driving license, the ability to work as part of a team, and a willingness to learn.
You will build relationships to maximise sales within the area. The role would require that you visit farms on a regular basis to assess farmer's needs for a breeding programme, advising them on how best to use the company's products and services to fulfil their breeding targets, assisting in solving problems that may arise on the herd's fertility and proactively responding to issues on the farms.
Full training and ongoing support will be provided. This is a full-time role that presents a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to progress their career in the genetics industry.
