Sugarman Education is currently recruiting for SEN teaching assistants to work in West London, an SEN specialist school. These roles are for an ASAP start and are long term roles.

Main duties will include:


  • Inspiring and engaging with pupils who have special additional needs of varying levels.

    * Assessing individual learning needs and working on a group basis.

    * Preparing materials, equipment and lessons

    * Assessing and reporting on individual pupil's progress

    * Pupils have additional needs and so experience of personal care would be preferred however not essential.

We welcome applications from the following; Candidates who have experience working as either a teaching assistant or in SEN. We also welcome applications from Graduates looking to get into education, Including education studies and social sciences. Applications from actors are also welcome for day to day work.

Other experience & qualifications desirable but not essential include;

* Team Teach

* Positive handling

* First Aid trained
