Cyber Threat Professional - Skelmersdale

Our client is a global telecoms organisation who has established a strong, successful brand supporting emergency services, hospitals, banks and keeping economies around the world online, safe and secure as well as delivering large scale technology infrastructure. A key focus of their organisation lies within cyber security and proactively  preventing, detecting and responding to security incidents within our fast and ever changing digital world.

You will be providing advice and guidance on malware  and working with senior stakeholders on a continuous improvement programme around threat information and improved threat mitigation. You will collaborate with Cyber Security Operations to hunt for identified indicators of compromise from generated and analysed intelligence.
You will be insatiably curious and self motivated allowing you to make creative connections in order to solve potential threats. You will possess business acumem and strong communication skills as well as an understanding of offensive security including attack methods and techniques. You will be capable of generating clear and concise reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, technical analysts and management.

The role will see you setting up vulnerability scans and providing advanced cyber activities;
Malware, Network Forensics and Vulnerability services
Assessing Information provided by threat intelligence feeds 
Applying knowledge of malware methods, attack methodologies and procedures to discover anomalies and trends within the data
Identify operational and technical improvements
Use analytical tools and techniques to review information and interpret gaps, trends and make recommendations
Understand current threat landscape & previous recent attack methods

Skills and Experience
Reverse Engineering
Vulnerability Scanning
ComTIA N+ and/or S+
Stakeholder management
Previous relevant experience
