Cyber Security Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an Cyber Security Engineer based in Thurrock, Essex, providing third line Server and infrastructure support and technical expertise to clinicians and corporate services. Essex Partnership University Trust has heavily invested in IT – the directorate employs over 175 staff - and uses best of breed technologies including Cisco networking, VMware virtualisation and EMC storage platforms. This is a newly formed Trust which invests in individuals and presents excellent development opportunities for individual growth. The Trust uses advanced technology in a ‘Paperlite’ (driving towards paperless ) environment which means that these roles are critical in supporting clinical care.

Innovation is key to the Trust’s strategic goals – plans include significant investment in Cyber security including advanced system management (SCCM 2016, and Sophos Intercept X), a complete network refresh over 450 sites and a replacement email system.
