Cyber Security Analyst / Security Architect

About the role

Two Cyber Security Analysts are required to support the expanding Information Security team at a leading professional services client in Central London.

Background - the Information Security function are delivering a number of projects, and as a result, a number of security technologies to compliment an existing suite of controls. These tools necessitate a number of processes and people to execute and manage them.

We have 2 Analyst positions, one coming in at £420-£480 per day, the other at £600-£650 per day.

Both are for 1 year engagements.

The level of your experience / amount of experience leading on Cyber Security programmes such as this will dictate which you fall in to.

The two analysts will be working as part of broader Information Security team, where they be primarily responsible for, the:

  • Across the range of security technologies (IAM, PAM, CASB, DLP, IDS/IPS, AV, etc) :
    • Management of policies,
    • Investigating alerts from security tools,
    • Performing reviews of reports from security tools;
    • For the senior role: Implementation of new procedures and standards
  • Privileged Account Management (PAM) specific activities:
    • Administration of the tool,
    • Management of the authorisation process,
    • Reviews of administrative activities across the infrastructure;
  • Identity Access Management (IAM) specific activities:
    • Management of attestation processes
  • Working closely with the various IT functions and other departments across the business, to ensure the smooth operation of these tools and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk with technical colleagues and high-level business management.
  • Experience with any of the following tools would be beneficial: MCAS, Azure Data Loss Prevention (and related Azure technologies/features), Azure Active Directory, AD Audit, Thycotic, DarkTrace, MimeCast.
  • Experience with any SIEM or FIM tools would also be beneficial.

Following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Incident investigation and handling certifications, such as: GCFA, GNFA (or retired certifications of this kind, such as: GCIH).
  • Audit aligned certifications, such as: CISA
  • General information security qualifications, such as: CISSP, or CISM
