We’re looking for a Customer Visits Co-ordinator to design, co-ordinate and manage all trade, media and company visits to the Beefeater and Plymouth Gin distilleries. This role is based at the Beefeater Distillery in Kennington, London and we’re looking for someone who is available to join us immediately.
Beefeater is a classic London Dry Gin, the most awarded gin in the world and the only major brand still distilled in London today at our distillery in Kennington under the watchful eye of Desmond Payne, the most experienced gin distiller in the world who is this year celebrating his 50th year in the industry.
Plymouth Gin is still made in at the oldest continuously operating gin distillery in the UK where it’s been based since 1793. This smooth gin was named in the Marguerite in 1904 - the first cocktail someone today would recognise as the iconic martini - as well as being the gin for the Gimlet and Pink Gin or Pinkers.
As a Customer Visits Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for:
Co-ordinating all distillery visit requests and build suitable itineraries, including tours, meetings, cocktail demonstrations and filming and photography shoots.
Liaising with all relevant teams to ensure they’re available and prepared for each visit.
Setting up, prepare and break down meeting rooms or conference spaces.
Organising accommodations, restaurant, on-trade reservations as well as transfers for guests. Stay up to date with key accounts and build relationships with relevant venues to ensure visits run smoothly.
Acting as a first point of contact for all incoming guests and manage their requests.
Working closely with the marketing team to ensure all relevant local market requests are facilitated and represent the brand image and market trends.
Stock management, in terms of duty paid tasting and bar stock and maintain and track glassware, refreshment and POS stock.
Ensuring all visits meet Health & Safety requirements and oversee the supervision of all external suppliers and agencies involved in visits.
Managing the visits budget and manage cross-charges to relevant departments and markets where appropriate. Produce monthly financial reports, stock reports
Co-ordinating and managing the Brand Home Ambassador in terms of their schedule and their day to day role.
To be a success in this role, you will have had previous administration, co-ordination, diary management and itinerary building experience. You’ll be a natural organiser, both customer and business focussed with the ability to communicate confidently with all levels of the organisation. You’ll be a proactive, self-starter with the willingness to physically set up spaces for visits. As well as the energy, prioritisation skills, creativity and can do attitude to prepare and deliver 250+ visits per year.
