Customer Support Technician

Our client based in Westfield, Radstock are looking for a Customer Support Technician to join their busy team.

Main responsibilities of the role:

* Respond to technical enquiries from customers via the online helpdesk portal.
* Respond to technical enquiries over the phone.
* Ensure customer feedback relating to product performance is communicated to the product development team.
* Provide assistance in maintaining product documentation and technical bulletins for customers.
* Provide assistance in creating and maintaining content on the helpdesk portal knowledge base.
* Provide assistance in meeting the KPI for enquiry response times.

Essential requirements for this role:

* A good grasp of written English, particularly spelling and grammar.
* A confident and polite phone manner.
* The ability to understand technical information.
* The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical customers.
* The ability to communicate effectively with non-native English speaking customers.
* The ability to work independently and manage time effectively to prioritise workload.
* The ability to work with other team members.
* The ability to maintain consistency when working under pressure.
* Experience using basic Microsoft Office applications, eg. Word, Excel.

Desirable for this role:

A basic understanding of electronics and its applications is desirable. An interest or understanding of Radio Frequency electronics, or computer networks would be an advantage.

This is a full time permanent role with an excellent salary dependent upon experience.
