Customer Support Manager


£25,000 - £30,000 plus excellent benefits

Due to continued business growth our Wolverhampton based client is looking to recruit an experienced and successful Customer Support Manager to join their growing team.

The role will involve leading and motivating a team of Customer Support Advisers, ensuring they continue to provide the highest level of technical support and guidance to a variety of customers.


  • Implement effective customer focussed activities, targets and objectives and ensure they are met
  • Identify opportunities for the Customer Support team to develop and add value to the business
  • Lead by example, achieve and maintain an understanding of company brands and products
  • Encourage personal development within the team, assigning tasks and objectives where necessary
  • Identify areas for improvement and recognise success and achievements
  • Manage the standard of customer service provided by the Support team
  • Resource management and monitoring of staffing levels
  • Provide opportunities for training and ensure the team are up to date with new products
  • Collate monthly reports, monitoring and reviewing performance
  • Communicate with Senior Management, making them aware of progress and performance levels
  • Deal with customer escalations and liaise with Quality and Production colleagues to resolve them
  • Identify areas within the team where

Key Skills:

  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels
  • The ability to understand technical terms and relay them to customers and colleagues in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong leadership skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction
  • An analytical approach to team management and problem solving
  • Knowledge of working with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
