Customer Support Executive

An exciting position for a Customer Support Executive has arisen for my client, a large global FMCG organisation within their dynamic Team in Waltham on the Wolds. Driving forward the success of globally admired brands is a major deal for a £24billion company which produces several iconic brands across the globe. They have an enviable reputation for quality people, for innovative brands and for keeping them right at the cutting edge. This role is for a minimum of 6 months and starts immediately via Adecco. The role is full time. Due to the location of the business, own transportation is required.

The core purpose of the role is to support the customer teams by undertaking key administrative tasks such as local aspects of customer invoice processing, ledger management (audit claims), promotional proposal forms and customer new line introductions. The job exists to make sure that our customers receive accurate information regarding promotions and new lines in a timely manner and the correct amount is paid to agreed timeline targets.

Principal Accountabilities:
INVOICING MANAGEMENT
-Responsible for:
-Managing customer invoices - approving and speaking to customer contacts, MFS and NAM
-Working with customers to minimise the number of late invoices and pursuing those missing
-Resolving customer price queries and invoice issues

CUSTOMER PROMOTIONAL WORK
-Completing customer promotional nomination forms accurately and to customer deadlines, ensuring sign off from NAMs
-Ensure an accurate audit trail is maintained of all promotional documentation

NPD
-Responsible for:
-Completing new line forms for customers including marketing copy where necessary and images, accurately and to customer deadlines (NAM to provide costings), obtaining sign off from the NAM
-organising NPD samples for customers

OTHER
-Supporting the channel and account teams with general administration tasks (e.g. derogation forms, supplying images to customers, POS support, meeting administration, raising purchase orders, arranging product samples, price file support)

Job Content
To provide administration support across a number of customers. Support the NAMs through managing the processing of invoices for their accounts, providing their customers with key information to both facilitate a smooth introduction of all new lines and the loading of promotions on their systems. They will also provide data and information as required by the account team and the customer to enable a smooth running of the business and maintain a strong relationship with the customer as well developing lean and effective tools and processes to deliver 'right first time' administration and reporting

Job Specifications/Qualifications

Applicants would need to demonstrate excellent working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office (esp Outlook and Excel). Existing experience of other systems (e.g. Mercury) would also be an advantage.
