Customer Service Representative based on the outskirts of Cambridge Circa. £24,000 + per annum

The company are a leading manufacturer and distributor of scientific instruments for a wide range of applications in the clinical, life-science and industrial markets.

Your new role
The successful candidate in this role would be part of a dynamic and growing European customer service team, delivering timely order acknowledgement, invoicing and related order activities for customers and distributors worldwide. The successful candidate would be expected to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained at a high level and at all times.
Key duties in this role include: Responding to customer orders by email and telephone; Building sustainable relationships with customers and suppliers; Managing customer accounts by recording and updating account information, regularly updating call details after each call to ensure order history is accurate; Maintaining paperwork including creating invoices, credit notes etc and liaising with the US and UK regarding shipping and other delivery issues; Accurately filing paperwork; Dealing effectively with customer complaints by determining the cause of the problem, working with colleagues as appropriate to find the best solution and processing the correction or adjustment and any other duties identified by the line manager and commensurate with the post.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate should have the ability to manage large volumes of incoming enquiries via email and telephone, organising and prioritising workloads in order to meet important deadlines whilst maintaining a professional and courteous with customers at all times.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as you will need to be able to liaise with customers, clients and internal staff both in the UK and overseas.
You should have strong problem solving skills paired with excellent administration experience and a comprehensive knowledge of IT systems.
Previous experience within Customer Services, Microsoft Dynamics and cloud based CRMs would be advantageous, as would French or German language skills.

This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. You will be offered a competitive salary of Circa. £24,000+ per annum, including and extensive benefits package
