Customer Services Team Member - UK's No1. Industry Supplier
The UK’s premier supplier to the landscaping and construction industries is recruiting an additional member to their Customer Service department.
Based in our offices on the Kent/East Sussex border, we are close to the towns of Hastings, Rye, Battle and Tenterden but the successful candidate must be a driver with their own transport.
You will possess excellent customer service skills and have a fantastic telephone manner, with the ability to resolve issues to the benefit of both our customers and the business.
Our busy Customer Services department handles a high volume of orders, queries and complaints daily, face to face, online and over the telephone. You will be confident working in a high-pressure environment and able to make decisions quickly and autonomously, whilst also being great at working well within a team.
As well as having previous experience in a Customer Service role, you will be IT literate and confident in using various programmes, including Office and Outlook. CRM experience would be advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Daily tasks to include:
+ Answering telephones
+ Responding to all messages via our website’s live chat system
+ Taking payment - over the telephone and in person, using our EPoS system
+ Processing orders - via multiple platforms including Magento, Netsuite & haulier networks
+ Dealing with queries and complaints - over the telephone, via email and face to face
+ Data entry and general office administration
+ Other general tasks as required
+ Positive, can-do attitude
+ Experienced customer service professional
+ Confident managing busy workload
+ Ability to resolve problems successfully
+ Excellent team player
Hours of work: Full-time, permanent. 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays
