Customer Services Representative - Life Science

Our client is a leading provider of biological cell products used in the clinical, research and drug discovery sectors. They are looking for a confident and enthusiastic customer service representative to join their team in West Sussex, who will be the main point of contact for customers, mainly responsible for answering and customer enquiries and ensuring that they are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
Excellent communication and team-working ability is required as the role will also involve liaising with various individuals within the company’s administration/warehouse/sales teams in order to provide a seemless service. A keen eye for detail is required to ensure all customer-related documentation is completed correctly for guarantee a smooth product shipping process.
This role will suit an autonomous self-starter with office-based customer service experience, who is well disciplined and can provide the highest standards of professionalism for their customers and colleagues. As this is a front line customer-focused role, the ideal candidate must have the ability to keep cool under pressure in order to make sound, measured decisions whilst showing commitment to develop and build long-lasting relationships with customers.
Candidates with an interest in biological sciences and research are preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service/office-based role (ideally within a scientific company)
